Is Free Software As Good As Paid?
By Emma Raven of Internet Business How To
It's often taken for granted that the more you pay for something, the better it must be. Good cars, food, clothes and so on cost money. Since when is anything worthwhile available for free with no strings attached? Has anyone heard of love? Love is free, but before you think I'm about to get corny, consider this. If you love doing something - really love doing it, and if the labours of your love produce something fantastic, and if you don't need to sell it because you don't need the money - you just might give it away for free. Millions of people give their time for free to help others. They do it for love of people, and for love of the job they are doing. This applies just as much to those who do wonderful volunteer work in the medical, legal or other professional fields, as it does to people who write computer programs for a living. So don't discount free software just because it's free. Just enjoy the love, and if you like the program and use it regularly, maybe give the developer a donation to show your appreciation. I've compiled links on my site to get some really great free software. You're welcome to visit and enjoy it. |

Great information. I added a link to your website on my website at FreeSamp.com
I just realized that this is the second time I have read this. I am new to this site and have just feeling my way to become familiar with it. I don't believe that I left a comment last time I was here. I would like to try some of that free software you mentioned. Sounds interesting.
